2018-01-14 SC Mary Zawacki Gauche Demo

Gouache: Transparent & Opaque. Mary Zawacki will be painting two studies of the same subject (from a photo reference) in gouache: one primarily using transparent techniques, and the other using opaque techniques. She will demonstrate layering, brush stroke techniques, and creative interpretation of the subject’s photo reference. Mary exhibits her paintings and teaches art classes in the Las Cruces area. She holds a BFA degree from the University of Michigan.
