2017-03-13 SC Carolyn Bunch Portrait Demo
The March meeting of the NMWS-SC included a presentation of a Certificate of Honorary Lifetime Membership to Carol Groves. Carol lives at Good Samaritan Society Village and has been instrumental in helping secure the NMWS-SC meeting spaces and rooms for parties,. Carol is a wonderful artist. The May issue of "Brushstrokes" will carry an article honoring Carol including some of her paintings.
Then we were fortunate to have our own Carolyn Bunch do a portrait presentation in the style of Ted Nuttall using his color palette. She is planning to bring the completed painting to our meeting in April. There is an article about Carolyn and her demo in the April "Brushstrokes"
Carolyn if famous for her wonderful portraits. She will have a show at the M. Phillips Gallery, 221 N. Main Street in Las Cruces this May.
